Quinn Anderson
Assistant Coach
Coach Quinn passion for swimming began in highschool. Where he was labeled as team captain, however, that did not stop there. Quinn enlisted into the United States Marine Corps. He did lessons and taught Marines how to swim. While serving Quinn attended a course called MCIWS course (Marine Corps instructor of water survival). Which consisted of a 3 week course of learning how to rescue victims, administer emergency first aid, and how to further identify weak swimmers and how to correct them. This course has a 50% fail rate. For every 1200 Marines, there are usually 4 of these Instructors. Quinn used these skills and taught plenty of Marines how to properly survive shipwreck scenarios, and how to survival swimming in open water environments
